ICT Officer - Non-Profit Organisation
£30,000 - £35,000 per annum
Location: Greater Manchester (Hybrid working available)
Are you an experienced ICT professional with a passion for technology and making a difference? We are looking for an ICT Officer to join a well-established non-profit organisation. This role involves managing, maintaining, and enhancing the IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth operations across various systems and supporting end-users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing and maintaining ICT systems, including servers, networks, and cloud-based solutions.
- Providing technical support to end-users and troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Supporting the implementation of new technologies to improve efficiency and service delivery.
- Working closely with the organisation's staff to ensure ICT tools are fit for purpose.
- Monitoring system performance, managing updates, and ensuring data security.
- Overseeing external IT contractors and managing vendor relationships.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in ICT support, ideally within a charity or non-profit organisation.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Office 365, and cloud-based solutions.
- Experience in network management, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical staff.
- Strong communication skills and a team player mindset.
- Knowledge of data protection regulations and best practices.
