Role: Senior .NET Developer

Location: Oxford, Oxfordshire (Fully Flexible working arrangements)

Salary: £55,000 - £70,000 (DOE)

Applause IT is recruiting for a British technology company who are exploring the boundaries of cutting-edge software engineering. Our client produces tailor-made solutions for clients across the world, specialising in cross-platform developer software development, 2D / 3D graphics platforms, high performance, high volume transaction processing, and a range of creative applications. They are now looking for a Senior .NET Developer to join their software engineering team.

As an experienced developer, you will have worked on a variety of highly available applications and have experience working within cross-functional software teams.

What would you be responsible for in this position?

• The ability to understand and translate diverse project requirements.
• Working across the full development lifecycle, from concept to deployment, within specified deadlines.
• Working with implementations across multiple platforms.
• Use of a range of tools and processes to build robust, scalable, and modern applications.

Essential Skills

• Experience working as a Full Stack Developer utilising the Microsoft Stack (.NET, C#, .NET 6, ASP.NET Core/MVC)
• Experience using Typescript/JavaScript and web technologies (Angular, Vue, React), HTML5, CSS3, IIS.
• Experience writing and optimising queries, stored procedures, functions, tables, etc with SQL Server and MySQL
• Working knowledge of CI/CD tools (TeamCity).

Desirable Skills

• Passion for technology and a desire to remain up to date with the latest skills;
• Experience working on high-traffic, responsive websites and applications;
• Knowledge and application of security best practices;
• Application of software development best practices;
• Experience with Agile methodologies (Sprints, Scrum, Stand-Up)
