Technical Architect

Location: Egham, Surrey (Hybrid)
Salary: £75,000 - £90,000 + Benefits
Hours: 35 hours per week, flexible between 8:00am and 6:00pm
Are you an experienced Technical Architect looking for a new challenge? Join a market-leading delivery management software provider. We are looking for a Technical Architect to help design and implement enterprise-level software solutions, ensuring scalability, security, performance, and maintainability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce high-level system designs for enterprise solutions using Azure Cloud technologies.
- Provide technical guidance to the development team and stakeholders, ensuring robust and scalable solutions.
- Collaborate closely with the CTO, Technical Development Manager, and DevOps to implement best practices.
- Manage the technical aspects of projects, including architecture reviews, code quality assurance, and troubleshooting complex issues.
- Lead and participate in the development of new features, enhancements, and bug fixes.
- Liaise with product owners, business analysts, and project managers to ensure alignment of technical solutions with project goals.
- Support the deployment of applications using MSbuild, Octopus, and Azure DevOps.
Skills and Experience:
- 8+ years of development experience with a strong background in ASP.NET, C#, .NET Core, and web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- 3+ years of experience as a Technical Architect, designing solutions that meet business requirements.
- Expertise in cloud and microservices architecture, with a deep understanding of Azure Service Bus, Cosmos DB, and Azure DevOps.
- Experience with event-driven architecture, API integrations, and secure authentication methods.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to mentor and guide technical teams.
- Knowledge of security and compliance standards such as GDPR.
