We're hiring a 1st Line Support Engineer to join a collaborative and fast-paced support team. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with strong fundamentals, curiosity, and great communication skills who wants to grow into a 2nd Line or specialist role over time.
What You'll Be Doing
- Acting as the first point of contact for IT support queries (remote & onsite)
- Troubleshooting issues across hardware, software, and user accounts
- Supporting Windows environments, Office 365, and basic networking issues
- Logging and managing tickets through to resolution
- Escalating more complex issues to senior engineers
- Delivering excellent customer service and user communication
What We're Looking For
- Some experience in an IT support role, internship, or helpdesk environment
- Understanding of:
- Windows OS
- Active Directory / user management
- Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, etc.)
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn
- Clear communication and a customer-first mindset
- A proactive attitude-someone who asks questions and takes ownership
Desirable (Not Essential)
- IT certifications (e.g. CompTIA A+, Network+)
- Exposure to ticketing systems
- Basic networking knowledge (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP)
