Enterprise Account Manager IT and Telco Connectivity Managed Services
£40,000 - £60,000 Base DOE Neg + 5K Car Allowance + Great Commission

Applause IT is recruiting on behalf of a large and leading multi offcie IT and connectivity Managed Services Provider delivering innovative solutions across cybersecurity, intelligent connectivity, cloud, communications, and contact centre technologies.
We are seeking an initiative-taking and strategic Account Manager to take ownership of a portfolio of Corporate Private Sector Enterprise-level clients. Your goal is to drive long-term retention, revenue growth, and profitability by becoming a trusted advisor-helping clients innovate, optimise their technology landscape, and achieve their business objectives.
This is a consultative, relationship-led position where you will act as an extension of your clients' organisations, supporting their long-term strategy and ensuring outstanding service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage, retain, and grow a portfolio of Enterprise accounts.
- Build strong multi-level stakeholder relationships, including senior leadership and C-suite.
- Promote and sell the full solutions portfolio, including:
- Cybersecurity
- Intelligent Connectivity
- Managed Services
- Hybrid Cloud
- Unified Communications
- Contact Centre Solutions
- Lead virtual account teams and collaborate closely with Service Management.
- Maintain accurate CRM updates, forecasts, contracts, and billing administration.
- Create and manage Account Development Plans, Business Plans, and Win Plans.
- Apply qualification and outcome-based sales methodologies to progress opportunities effectively.
What You will Bring
Experience
- Proven experience managing and developing client relationships face-to-face.
- 3-5 years + IT MSP and Connectivity Sales in a similar role
- Background in solution selling and value-led sales methodologies.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience negotiating complex contracts.
- Knowledge of managed services, cloud, connectivity, or cybersecurity solutions.
- You do not have to be an expert in everything listed though as there are specialist sales support.
- Consistent achievement of sales and revenue targets.
