Information & Cyber Security Manager
Location: South Manchetser, Hybrid Working
Salary: £60,000 - £70,000, dependent on experience
Are you an experienced Cyber Security professional looking to take the next step in your career? We are seeking an Information & Cyber Security Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support the Head of Cyber & Data Security in executing our cybersecurity strategies and ensuring the protection of our information assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the Security Operations Center (SOC) for continuous monitoring and incident detection.
- Manage security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection, and encryption.
- Implement and mature Cyber Security controls to meet evolving threats.
- Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies, procedures, and standards.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation efforts.
- Promote a culture of security awareness across the organisation.
- Lead Cyber Security testing and manage supplier relationships for security systems.
- Participate in risk assessments and audits to ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards.
Critical Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, etc.).
- Experience with cloud technologies, particularly Microsoft Azure.
- Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly.
- Proven ability to build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
Qualifications:
- Essential: Professional qualification in Cyber Security (e.g., CISSP, CISM).
- Desirable: Additional certifications such as CySA+, CEH, CCSP.
