Who are Radius?
Established in 1990 as UK Fuels in Crewe and quickly
building relationships with the likes of BP, Fastfuel, Shell, Texaco and JetCard,
Radius have consistently grown through acquisition and strengthened their
product offerings to their customers.
Having expanded across Europe, their services diversified
and moved into vehicle telematics, telcoms and sustainable mobility solutions.
They are now able to help their customers navigate toward a more sustainable
future by providing one-stop-shop solutions to SMEs as well as best-in-class
solutions at an enterprise level.
Our Relationship
For more than 6 years now, Applause IT have worked alongside Radius. As you may imagine, that has seen several evolutions of the working relationship - sometimes collaborating directly with technical line managers and at other times working alongside their talented internal talent acquisiton team.
That is where we pick up the story for this particular case study - looking at the relationship with their Senior Talent Acqusition Partner who looks after digital - covering recruitment requirements across IT, Tech & Data.
We put a few quick questions to them to find out a little more about how the collaboration between the internal recruitment team and a recruitment agency works.

Applause IT have applied consistent effort throughout the year, showing admirable resilience when supporting on some challenging vacancies. Communication is clear and regular, without being pushy. They also offer good advice on the candidate market.
Lastly, how do you see the market for hiring for Radius and in general in the next 12 months?
We’re in a period of growth with regards to our Fuel Solutions and Telematics business areas, which in turn will mean growth of our technical teams. I anticipate a similar level of hiring across IT as in 2023.
